Increased
awareness of their own strengths and areas of growth -: Yes i acheived it
Throughout these years, I really understood where I was weak and where I was
strong at. And after knowing those weak areas, I tried to work really hard to
make it as my string areas. It took a lot of time to do that but still by hard
work worth it.
Undertaken
new challenges - : Yes i acheived, This
is mainly because whenever my music teacher, or cricket coach or my recycling
teacher tells me to perform or spread awareness of it; I without any hesitation
did that in front of many people.
Planned
and initiated activities -: Yes i acheived ,I
am the only one, who planned and initiated local school cricket matches and
also some small singing whenever I get an opportunity to perform it in front of
large or small audience.
Worked
collaboratively with others -: Whenever
there is a team work or effort I always tried to keep myself collaboratively
with my peers. If I am the leader I
asked opinions from all of them. And I think this is why leadership was quite
successful in and out school. So, yes i achieved it too
Shown
perseverance and commitment in their activities -: Throughout
these 2 years I was really committed to my action, service and creativity.
Because I always attended the CAS on time, never had any delay. And moreover I
always asked questions enthusiastically to all my teachers and coaches whenever
I feel like having a doubt in my mind. So, yes i achieved it.
Engaged
with issues of global importance -: Yes, i acheived it because in
recycling I understood how much important it is globally. And also the issues
with it such as; how recycling can limit the production of waste material and
also how can that reduce the consumption of energy etc. Before doing recycling
I never understood the issues associated with it, but now that I am being doing
recycling for 3 years, I understood how important is recycling to maintain a
good welfare in the society.
Considered
the ethical implications of their actions -: Yes,I
always did recycling by fully knowing the ethical implication of it in our
society. That’s the main reason why I always tried to me punctual in all my
recycling session without any delays, because I know it’s very important in
order to have a healthy environment.
Developed
new skills -: By
getting continuous training in cricket, music and recycling I gained so many
skills. Especially in cricket and music,
where I used to have no skills (beginner), but now I feel like person who is
master in all of them. I am very sure that if I am keep on getting training
like this for another couple of years, I will be the champion.

I have been playing cricket for the last two
and half years but I never bothered about taking pictures of me doing my action
because of my heavy involvement in the game. But once I reached in 12th grade
work load kept me away from my regular sessions of cricket. And by the
end of January our classes almost finished as most of my Sri Lankan friends had
exams. So unfortunately I couldn’t take photo with my playmates. But
today I somehow went to the ground and had some individual coaching. And today,
I only did batting practice, because batting is something where I lack skills. Normally
being busy, my main coach comes very rarely. But my coach has arranged a sub
coach who teaches me most of the batting, bowling and fielding skills. This
time I worked on developing some skills needed for decent batting.
I am very eager to get more classes from him, before i leave Sri Lanka because I think I can improve even better if I am keep on getting training in cricket. I am also very glad that I could able to meet those CAS goals. I understood my strong areas and weak areas in batting. Like playing on drive, the cover drive, square cut and forwards defense and many else those are my strong areas, whereas Back foot defense, Off the Pads through the on - side etc. those are my weaknesses. So, this way I increased my awareness my own strengths and areas of growth. So, this way I undertook new challenges. I also planned and initiated activities and worked collaboratively with others. By getting those training I also gained skills and also understood the ethical implications of my action.

My favorite Action (Cricket)
After, having a leg injury, i couldn't attend most of my action classes. But this weekend i went to the courts to practice. And during that practice i learned some new batting techniques and bowling techniques. Bowling was the hardest art i faced in my practice because i had to run a lot in that, whereas in batting i didn't run that much, so it was all fine. I really worked collaboratively with my partner and also because of that we could able to make a good partnership score. At the same time, i gained new skills in both batting and bowling. And overall i think i pretty much shown perseverance and commitment in my action part of the CAS, even though my leg was paining. I think i will have to improve on bowling side because this time i couldn't bowl properly meaning proper line and length to the batsmen. I think my batting is quite strong because i made quite a lot of runs in the first and the second innings. Next, time when i go, i will start practicing on my fielding also because my doing it i can be a good all- rounder and at the same time i can one of the important criteria of CAS i.e considered the ethical implication of my action. Because if i follow that criteria, then i can i almost hit all the criteria set my IB for action.

Risk taking in Creativity
Last night, i gave myself a big challenge to sing in front of quite a big audience at India house. This way i performed reflects that i met some critical criteria of CAS such as before performing this concert, i really developed some skill and abilities, and also i undertook the challenge to perform it in front of everyone. And i am looking forward to perform like this in many other places also.

My creativity
Last year, I was somehow following
through my creativity goals, but this year unfortunately due to heavy works I
couldn't attend that many music classes. One of the most challenging thing,
which I faced during this year in my creativity (vocal music) because vocal
music is something which you really need to practice at least some time during
the week ends but I was so busy that I couldn’t practice. That lack of practice
really showed up when I went to my music sir's house after a long time. I was
hardly singing anything decent. From that class onwards I really started giving
some of my valuable time in practicing my vocal music to develop those skills
necessary for a singer. In that run, I tried to hit some of the main goals of
CAS, which were; I gained many vocal music skills and abilities to perform it
outside my house and also nowadays I am really showing commitment to my
creativity.

Allmosty follwed all CAS goals!!!
This semester
I really engaged myself in all my creative, action and service activities. So, I
think I showed my full potential in overcoming some of the problems which was
to attend regular CAS classes and also to meet up some of the major CAS goals. Anyway,
by the end of this semester I met some of the valuable CAS goals such as playing
regular matches on Sunday’s helped me develop my own skills
and abilities to the sport cricket and also I have learned to undertake challenges, whenever my team is having a
tough time to win or face our opponent team. Not only
that, from my regular music classes in weekends, it also helped me to show commitment. Because music is on a fixed time, I never
got myself in a late situation. I also worked
collaboratively with my other fellow music learners. Sometimes we get
together in small groups and practice the notes our music teacher gives us. Having attending all my service (recycling)
classes also showed me how important is recycling to our society. By this way I
am using my full potential to engage in issues of
global importance. I have also planned and have taken responsibilities for organizing
and playing some local cricket matches with some local teams. So, this I think I
am pretty confident that, I tried to hit as much CAS goals as possible.
